Product Description

Overview

The X1550-48T4S is an ultra-high-density Layer 2 managed switch engineered for large-scale enterprise networks, campus backbones, and data center access layers demanding massive device connectivity and resilient uplink capacity. Designed to support bandwidth-intensive environments like smart buildings, IP surveillance clusters, and high-user-density offices, it delivers robust performance while simplifying network aggregation.

Featuring 48 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports for comprehensive device access and 4 dedicated 1GbE SFP slots, this switch enables fiber uplinks (single/multi-mode) for high-bandwidth aggregation, long-distance backbone links (up to 80km), and EMI-free connectivity. The quad-SFP design ensures scalable uplink capacity and redundancy for critical network tiers.

Enterprise-grade management includes VLAN segmentation, hardware-based QoS (802.1p/DSCP), LACP link aggregation (up to 32 groups), and multi-spanning tree (STP/RSTP/MSTP) for loop resilience. Advanced security features like 802.1X authentication, ACL enforcement, port isolation, and DoS protection are managed via Web GUI, CLI, or SNMPv3.

Key Features:

  1. Ultra-High Device Density: 48x Gigabit RJ45 ports for large-scale device deployments.

  2. Scalable Fiber Uplinks: 4x 1GbE SFP slots for aggregation/backbone connectivity.

  3. Carrier-Class Resiliency: MSTP/RSTP redundancy and LACP (802.3ad) with 32 aggregation groups.

  4. Advanced Traffic Prioritization: 8 hardware queues with 802.1p/DSCP QoS for latency-sensitive applications.

  5. Enterprise Security Suite: 802.1X port authentication, ACL filtering, IP-MAC binding, and storm control.
